Cascade is the weather-repellent topcoat, or second part, for the two-part system that includes Sashco's Capture Log Stain.
Cascade provides added exterior protection against damaging UV rays. It dries with a modest sheen and adds depth to the appearance of stained logs.
For the first 1-2 years after your home has been stained and clear-coated, the exterior logs’ surfaces should be inspected regularly. At this time, additional coats of stain (Sashco’s Capture) or clear coat (Cascade) may be applied as needed.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Coverage rate: 1 gallon covers 400-600 sq. ft. of surface area on smooth surfaces and approximately
300 sq. ft. per gallon on rough surfaces.
Application: Surface temperature: 50°F (and rising) and 90°F (and falling). The coating should be
applied and allowed to dry within this temperature range. Application and curing
below the minimum risks slow drying which could lead to rain or snow damage.

afternoon to allow adequate drying before exposure to severe conditions.

Shelf Life: 18 mnths from date of manufacture (minimum, unopened pail stored at room
temperature). Storage Containers with Cascade should be stored with lids tightly
secured. While Cascade is freeze-thaw stable (good through at least 5 freeze-thaw
cycles), it should be stored in cool, dry conditions, above 40°F. Keep out of the
reach of children.
Clean up: Clean hands and tools with plain soap and water.
